2007 OSYSA ODP Day at the Columbus Crew
OSYSA is pleased to announce that we will be having an Ohio South ODP Player Recognition Day at the Columbus Crew Match on August 18th at 7:30pm vs DC United.
We would like to honor those players who participated in the 2006-2007 ODP Program. Tickets for players will be free. Family and friends can purchase tickets at the special price of $10.00 per ticket for lower level seating plus a $5.00 processing fee per order.

We expect to open the 2007-2008 ODP Seasonal Year ODP Registration Process in late August. Please check the OSYSA website often for further details.
About the Olympic Development Program...
The Ohio South Olympic Development Program was created to foster the development of young players at all ages. Players initially compete at the District Level and then advance to State Team Tryouts. Those players who are selected to the Ohio South State Team then compete at the Regional level. Players selected to the Regional Team represent Region II at the National Level.
The Kohl’s US Youth Soccer American Cup is Returning to Ohio South, August 18-19, 2007
This recreational tournament for players U6-U14 provides recreational youth soccer players an opportunity to experience a high quality tournament in a fun, festival-like atmosphere. There is an interactive village where players will be able to test their dribbling and kicking skills at the inflatable drill stations between tournament games. Maya and Miguel from PBS Kids will also be attending one day of the event. For more information click here.

In addition to great fan support, the officiating of the tournament was highly praised. “This is the first time, that I’m aware of, that not a single red card was warranted during any of the 84 games,” said Bob Wertz, US Youth Soccer Referee Chairman. “There were a number of factors including the cooperation of the players and selection process of referees. It was a job well done.”
